Abstract:A new kind of rectangular thin plate as a high power ultrasonic radiator is studied, and its resonant frequency equation is derived under the condition of free boundary.The vibrating mode distribution of the rectangular thin plate is studied,and experimented with its radiating performance under high power condition.The theory and the experiments show their the rectangular thin plate has many vibrating modes,which correspond to dif- ferent resonant frequencies.
