| Abstract: | This paper reports how the phase conjugation is used to compensate for the pulse spreading and distortion dispersing in the fiber. The experiment of four-wave mixing with the signal pulse from a short piece of multimode fiber and BDN dye as nonlinear medium is done. The experimental result is basically in agreement with theory. The causes of errors in the experiment are discussed in detail. |
