梯度乳液聚合制备核壳结构丙烯酸酯乳液——合成工艺

摘    要:采用梯度种子乳液聚合方法,引入半连续单体滴加工艺和亲水性功能单体,制备了零VOC乳胶涂料专用的具有较高玻璃化温度(tg)、较低最低成膜温度(tMF)的核/壳结构的纯丙烯酸酯乳液.讨论了合成工艺、乳化剂种类和用量、亲水性功能单体及各阶段单体用量等因素对乳液结构及tMF的影响.实验结果表明采用梯度种子乳液聚合工艺和引入亲水性功能单体———甲基丙烯酸羟丙酯(HPMA)可有效地降低丙烯酸乳液的tMF(tMF<3℃),提高乳液的冻融稳定性和钙离子稳定性.

Abstract:Core-shell acrylate emulsion for zero VOC latex coatings with higher glass transition temperature(t_g) and lower minimal film-forming temperature (t_(MF)) is prepared by Gradual seeded Emulsion Polymerization and introducing hydrophilic functional monomers.The main influence factors such as emulsion polymerization technology,emulsifier,hydrophilic functional monomers and different ration of core/shell monomer to core-shell structure and t_(MF) of polymer particle are discussed.The experimental results show that typical core-shell structure acrylate emulsion with higher t_g and lower t_(MF) can be prepared by using gradual seeded emulsion polymerization.Hydrophilic functional monomer HPMA is effective to reduce the t_(MF) of emulsion and enhance the thaw-freezing stability and electronic stability.
