On the Intellectuals Being the Participants and Re-constructors in the Land Reform of Rural of Shanghai in Initial Period of P.R.C.

At the founding period of P.R.C.,the land reform was not only a democratic revolution movement about eliminating the feudal exploitation with land,but also a profound ideological education campaign.The paper takes intellectuals of rural of Shanghai as an example,analyzing the dual roles of the intellectuals as participants and re-constructors in the land reform and demonstrates that land reform had a positive effect on intellectuals' ideology on the one hand,and intellectuals actively integrate into the new regime,making efforts to improve their own thinking on the other hand,in the process of which demonstrating interaction and tension between intellectuals and the real world.
