| Abstract: | On the basis of hte expeditions to 42 caves in the south part of Yixing county, the distribhtion, types and features of the caves in Yangxian Scenic Spot have been described. At the same time, the change of CO_2content in relation to the number of tourists ere proposed by means of monitoring the CO_2 content in the cave air, from March 1987 to April 1988, in Shanjuan Cave. The results suggest that because the maximum value of CO_2 content is 4500ppm in Shanjuan Cave, the cave air there is harmless to human body at present, but the environmental capacity of the caves better to be controlled below 10000 (persontime)per day. |
