《洗澡》英译本的全息翻译观探析

作者用＂全息翻译＂的观点,探析了选自小说《洗澡》英译本的八个译例,指出了译例所反映出的原著信息传递错误或不全的问题。在此基础上,他们主张译者应尽可能多地将原著所蕴含的信息传递给广大译语读者,并提出了实现＂全息翻译＂的五个可行做法。

An Analysis of the English Version of Chinese Novel Baptism from the Perspective of Full-Sense Translation

With eight examples chosen from the English version of Chinese novel Baptism,the authors analyze the novel＇s English translation from the perspective of full-sense translation.They suggest that problems with the English translation of the cited examples are mistranslation and incomplete conveyance of full sense of the original novel to English readers.Based upon their analysis,they argue that translators should try their best to transmit to target language readers as much information as possible that the original work contains and suggest five applicable methods to practice ＂full-sense translation＂.
