《邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想概论》课目前存在的问题主要有：学生对该课的重要意义认识不足、兴趣不高，师资队伍理论水平参差不齐，教材内容的部分重复，以及教学方法和手段的落后等。改进思考：其一，选聘教师要严；其二，教学内容要精；其三，教学方法和手段要创新；其四，考核方法要多样化；其五，要完善教学管理制度。

At present,there are several main problems in the teaching of An Introduction to the DengXiao Ping Theory and Important Thought of 'Three Represents': students lack deep understanding of the important significance of this course and show little interests in this course,theoretical levels of teachers are varying,part of the teaching materials are repeated,teaching methods and means lag behind,etc.Howerer,there are possible solutions:firstly,it should be strict to hire teachers;secondly,the teaching materials should be refined;thirdly, innovative methods and means should be introduced into the teaching;fourthly,assessment should be diversified;fifthly,teaching management regulations should be improved.
