自白影院--福柯的"自白"理论在《哈罗得和莫得》及《回家》中的运用

摘    要:福柯指出:“自白”作为言语方法在人类自我构成和发展中起着关键的作用。20世纪70年代由哈尔.埃史比导演的两部影片《哈罗得和莫得》以及《回家》突出体现了福柯关于自白的理论。通过对影片中两位主人公的转变过程的分析比较,可以揭示出该人物的塑造所带来的社会意义及两部影片所共同体现的导演意图。

Abstract:Foucault points out, "confession", as a verbalization technique, plays a pivotal role in people's egoformation and self-development. Directed by Hal Ashby in 1970s, two films Harold and Maud and Coming Home have brought Foucault's confession theory into full play. Through the comparison and analysis of the transformation of two protagonists in the films, the paper intends to reveal the social significance embodied in the representation of the two characters and meanwhile, the director's real purpose jointly showed in the films.
