| Abstract: | Combined with the psychological and physiological characteristics of the beginners to learn breaststroke, the article discussed the effect or applying a "pithy formula"method in breaststroke teaching and concluded that the "pithy formula" method can increase the beginners' interest, help them command the breaststroke skill more quickly and so its effect is very good.
