| Abstract: | The basic concepts, modern techniques and characters of 3S, Global Positioning System(GPS) Remote Sensing(RS) and Geographical Information System(GIS), were discussed in this paper. The relationship between 3S techniques and the development of surveying and mapping subject has been discussed. It must have positive influences on the development of surveying and mapping in the future. |
