| 摘 要： | 虚拟语气在语法教学中是个难点，原因是以于that－从句中谓语动词的特殊形式不能有一个令人信服的解释。通过分析主句中的关键词、情态动词should的情态语义以及过去式的实质，可以推断出虚拟语气实际上是一种间接祈使。
