| Abstract: | This paper introduces the protection mechanism of the contact network on the electrified railway,discusses on the principles and advantages/disadvantages of three kinds of the protection modes of the contact network system including the counterflow line lightning arrester,the counterflow line double insulation and the counterflow line flashover protective ground wire,and compares them from technical and economic aspects. |
