Abstract:This paper analyzes on the causes of the generation of the reactive power in the low-voltage electric system and the harms and losses brought about by the reactive power,and emphatically introduce the methods for reducing the reactive consumption based on the actual conditions and the economic benefit produced after adopting these compensation countermeasures.
