海峡两岸化学工程术语的差异及成因初探

基于化工术语译名的个案研究,分析海峡两岸科技术语译名表述差异的现状及其原因,从语义学角度探讨化工术语翻译与规范的可行性策略与方法,提出协调、统一科技术语译名的设想与具体举措。建议强化海峡两岸译名统一的现实意义,以提升汉语语言民族凝聚力,凸显汉语语言张力,力争汉语国际话语权。

Differences and Causes on Translated Names of Chemical Engineering Terms between Mainland China and Taiwan District

Based on the research of the translated names of chemical engineering terms, we analyze the current situation of the differences of the scientific terms between mainland China and Taiwan, and causes for that. We also discussthe practical strategies and solutions on translation and normalization of chemical engineering terms from the perspective of semantics, and present the ideas and ways to coordinate and standardize the translated names for scientific terms. We think it is important to highlight the significance of the unanimous translated names in both sides of Taiwan Straits, so as to enhance the cohesion of Chinese nations, extend the influence of Chinese language and strive for discourse power of Chinese language in the international society.
