| Abstract: | The strength properties of red sandstone,such as compressive strength,shear strength and tensile strength, have been meassured in the laboratory.On the basis of the tests,red sandstone's engineering machanics properties and their laws of change have been revealed and analysed. The main factors controlling the strength properties of red sandstone have been also apprased and discussed. |
