论新世纪中国高等教育的改革与发展

中国高等教育在21世纪面临的新形势主要是宏观经济发展的良好态势、区域经济社会发展的迫切要求和知识经济与WTO的严峻挑战。基于对这一形势的分析和中国高等教育的状况，本文提出，为了更好地适应新形势发展的需要，必须加快中国高等教育的改革与发展，具体思路与举措是加快高等教育管理体制的改革，进一步加快教学工作改革，加强对教学工作的领导，坚持教学改革的核心与地位。这些措施是中国高等教育事业健康与迅速发展的重要前提与保证。

On the Reform and Developments of Higher Educations Of New Century in China

Higher education is faced with new situations in 21st century in China. On the basis of the analysis on the situation and the states of higher educations, this paper has proposed some new measures in order to meet the needs of changing situation better. That is : accelerate the reform and development; strengthen further the leadership of teaching management system; Insist on the key position of the reform in education, etc.
