| Abstract: | The principle to select the real curve of time history of earthquake to be used for examining aseismic design has been provided through the researeh of Shanghai ground motion and the characteristics of Shanghai earthquake motion in this paper. It has been demonstrated that the selected recouls are suitable through checking and calculation. |
