Abstract:The cationic polymer taking as demulsifier for breaking oil in water emulsions from epichlorohydrin and mixed alkylamines was synthesized. The synthesized polymer is named as PEA-01. The optimum conditions of preparation and the demulsification performance were investigated. The results showed that the cationic polymer PEA 01 is more effective than CW 01. PEA 01 is a good demulsifier for oil in water emulsions.
