| 摘 要： | 商务合同在现代贸易中扮演着很重要的角色。商务合同属于法律文件,它有自己的语言风格,其中最典型的要数古体词。古体词是指在古英语或中古英语时从法国,希腊和拉丁等国传过来的英语词语。现在只在一些法律文件中使用,比如商务合同。详细地学习古体词的历史,古体词的基本意思是很有必要的。另外,通过结合Halliday and Hassan的著作Cohesion in English,古体词能被在合同中充当衔接手段。这对合同的起草和翻译是非常有用的。

| Abstract: | Business contract plays an important role in modern international trade.Business contract belongs to the legal document,which has formed its special language style.The most typical one is the application of archaisms which refer to the English words that borrowed from Latin,French and Greece in the Old English and Mid-old English age.Today they are only used in the legal documents,say a business contract.It is necessary to learn about the history of archaisms and basic meanings.According to the works Cohesion in English by Halliday and Hassan,Archaisms can be used as cohesion device which is very important to drafts and interprets a contract. |
