传统解释学是一种客观主义解释学。它认为文本意义的确定性,解释者必须消除并超越其自身的前理解历史性,才可以达到对源语文本客观准确的理解。这种观点和传统＂忠实＂的翻译原则相一致。当代解释学强调解释者的前理解、历史视阈在理解中的作用,它认为文本的意义是不确定的。以此为基础,一些译论者质疑翻译的＂忠实＂原则。在翻译中,源语文本中作者本意和文本本意是相对确定的,译者的阐发、创造是有限度的,夸大文本意义的不确定性、夸大译者的作用会导致随意翻译。

An Analysis of Definite and Indefinite Nature of Textual Meaning in Literature TTranslation

As an objective hermeneutics,traditional hermeneutics believes in the definite nature of textual meaning,and in order to have an accurate understanding of the source text,the interpreters should get rid of their historical nature of pre-understanding.This view is in agreement with the traditional principle of faithfulness.The contemporary hermeneutics,which stresses the role of interpreters＇ pre-understanding and historical horizon in the course of understanding,holds that the meaning of the text is indefinite.Based on the theory,quite a few translators question the principle of faithfulness.The paper believes that in translation,the author＇s meaning and the textual meaning are relatively definite and the translators＇ interpretation is rather limited.Over-exaggeration of indefinite nature of textual meaning and translators＇ creativity will lead to casual translation.
