| Abstract: | Summary Lipid soluble antioxidants, butylated hydroxytoluene and vitamin E, were shown to suppress cytotoxicity induced by cholesterol-derived photoproducts in Chinese hamster embryo cells. These cholesterol-derived photoproducts were rather toxic.This study was supported by USPHS grant CA23684 awarded by the National Cancer Institute, NIH, DHEW. |
