| Abstract: | The article summarizes the spiritual temperaments of modern science that includes its preference to ideal world, its normative order to scientific language, and its pursuit to public reason. The author points out the cultural contexts that give birth to these spiritual temperaments, and demonstrates the relations between these spiritual temperaments and ancient Greek culture. |
