| Abstract: | Summary Hyaluronic acid is increased about 12%, whereas dermatan sulfate is decreased about 34%, in gastric mucosa of athyroid rats when compared with controls. Administration of 2 doses of L-tri-iodothyronine reversed the effects of thyroidectomy.This work was partially supported by the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas de la República Argentina. |
