成都粘土的胀缩特性

摘    要:用蒸馏水对成都粘土原状试样两个方向(垂直水平面和平行水平面)的膨胀率、膨胀力及收缩率进行了测试,用重塑样进行了膨胀率及自由膨胀率的测试。根据对9组试样的试验结果讨论了成都粘土的胀缩性等级,粒间联结对胀缩性的影响,胀缩性的各向异性,以及影响成都粘土胀缩性的主要因素。

Abstract:Chengdu Clay contains a great deal of illite and kaolinite, and a small amount of montmor-tite and montmortite-kaolinite mixed-layer minerals. Commonly the content of clay particles is morethan 50%. There are many fractures in them. This study is concentrated in the following two aspects: a. The swelling ratio, swelling pressure andshrinkage ratio are tested on undisturbed samples in two directions (perpendicular and parallel to thebeddinga); b. The swelling ratio and free swell on remolded samples. From the testing results, the degreeof swelling and shrinkage of Chengdu Clay, the influence of interparticle bonding on swelling andshrinkage, the anisotropy of swelling and shrinkage and the main factors influencing on swelling andshrinkage of clay are discussed in this paper.
