| Abstract: | The Magic Barrel is one of the most famous short stories written by Maramud,a reputed American Jewish writer. Due to its unique technique of narrating the story,it has appealed to many common readers and critics. Writer's intentional delay and suppression of information makes the story and introspective. The article aims to discuss about how the writer has employed suppression of information and delay of information to achieve his aim of making an amazing story. |
