| Abstract: | Gear drive has been and still is an important transmission technique in spite of the existence and development of many other transmission methods widely used in light-industry machinery. The failure analysis of a spiral gear worn out during early service time is made the results of which can be beneficial to the design, material selection. manufacturing process and even maintenance of smallsized gears, and eventually to the improvement of quality of gears used in light-industry machinery. |
