| Abstract: | An operating system is described,Whicb allows a PC in a 16 processor hypercube to runan MSDOS application in the foreground while simultaneously acting as a slave in the back-ground for parallel computation. The design ideas and techniques in implementing the oper-ating system are discussed.The result shows that the system has the ability to support par-allel computation.It provides the new techniques for developing operating system on a nodeprocessor of parallel computer. |
