多元文化数学及其文化意义

摘    要:数学常被认为是文化自由的,多元文化数学则揭示了数学的文化相关性.从多元文化数学的立论基础、基本内涵及发展机制的角度分析了多元文化数学的涵义,并在此基础上讨论了多元文化数学的来源与存在形态.最后,从传统文化、数学哲学与数学史、数学教育等角度分析了多元文化数学的文化意义.

Abstract:Mathematics had been widely thought to be culture-free,however researches in multicultural mathematics indicated that mathematics was also culture-related. The concept of multicultural mathematics was analyzed with respect to its theoretical basis,connotation and mechanism of development. Then the source and existing form of multicultural mathematics were discussed. At last,cultural meanings of multicultural mathe-matics were analyzed by concerning about cultural tradition,mathematics philosophy,history and mathematics education.
