| Abstract: | The modern Chinese educationalist Zheng Xiaocang was expert in Chinese and Western studies,and his calm and unpretentious poetry reflected the man himself.This article describes his life in brief,then focuses on his poems praising science and his connections with Britain and Joseph Needham. |
