| Abstract: | The title compound has been obtained by the reaction of copper powder with sulfur powder, potassium sulfide and 3-methylpyridine at ambient temperature and normal atmosphere. The colour of the crystal is orange-red and the crystal is insoluble in normal organic solvent. The structure is characterized by elemental analysis, infraved spectra,thermal analysis, electro-chemistry and X-ray crystallograph. |
