| Abstract: | From the new perspective and by use of the principle of welfare economics, this paper demonstrates the influence of integration of rural and urban employment markets on the economic efficiency and social welfare and shows that it is necessary to encourage the rural labour forces to shift to the non-agricultural sectors, which conforms to the goal of building the well-off society from the sense of economics. |
