| Abstract: | The distribution of hydrostatic pressure and the influence of axial pressure and clearance,the main technical factors,on it during cropping under axial load are revealed by using elasto-plastic Finite Element Method. The relationship between the quality of cropped billets and hydrostatic pressure in intense shearing zone is verified by experimental study. |
