| Abstract: | The rock shear strength parameters are considered to be random-fuzzy variables including both random error and fuzzy error. Thcir uncertainties are discussed in this paper. A random-fuzzy linear regression method is presented to determine the rock shear strength parameters on the basis of rock shear tests samples. The corresponding formulae are deduced. The current random linear regresslon method is proved to be a special case of the proposed random-fuzzy linear regression method. In this paper the results obtained from a computing example are given. The recommended method which is more realistic and better than the conventional ones is shown. |
