试论建设有中国特色社会主义文化

任何社会都是经济、政治、文化的有机统一体，建设有中国特色社会主义，必须建设有中国特色社会主义文化。建设有中国特色社会主义文化，最根本的目的是要在全社会形成共同的理想和精神支柱。要建设好有中国特色社会主义认识论面坚持正确的指导思想、方针和原则，处理好批判与继承的关系、扬弃与吸取的关系、物质文明建设和精神文明建设的关系。

On Building Socialist Culture with Chinese Characteristics

Every society is an organic unity of economy,politics and culture. To build socialism with Chinese characteristics,we must build socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, the essence of which is to form common ideals and spiritual props in the whole society.To achieve this goal, we must uphold correct ideology,policies and principles, properly handle the relations between criticism and heritage or assimilation,and keep a good balance between the construction of material civilization and that of spiritual civilization.
