Baiyun Rural Girl,a Zhuang drama with six scenes was adapted from the long folk poem Dissolute Wit and Baiyun Rural Girl.The adapter devised a well-organized story structure and elaborated on the lyric and aside,creating an atmosphere electric with suspicion and quirky twists and presenting in terms of refined,graceful and vivid words.The sto- ry may seem an unlikely end but it should not have come as a surprise.The drama was favorably reviewed many times,as Wenshan Theatrical Festival in 1989,southeast Yunnan Theatrical Festival Combining Singing and Dancing in 1991,and the second China Art Festival in 1992,above all it was given the first prize in editing,directing,composing,performing, costume and stage art designing in the festival in 1991.
