在新课标下让网络为英语教学增值

随着电脑的普及应用,网络已经深入到社会各个领域,尤其是应用在教育教学中,笔者从实践中得出一些经验:网络的建立丰富了英文资料库;对制作高质量的课件,提高课堂效率、从网络上查找英文资料提供了方便;涉及网络电台提高了听说能力、涉足常用的英语软件使英语学习变得轻松愉快;涉足硬件可以更好地为教学服务;利用网络可以进行形式多样的网上教研;走进英语聊天室,发挥网络“语音教室”的重要作用。这些对于网络在英语教育教学中的贡献是值得我们去研究的。

The Significant Role of Network in English Teaching under the Guidance of New Course Standard

With the popularity of the computer in almost all the working fields,especially in the applied teaching areas,the author,under the guidance of the new course standard,abstracts some useful experiences from his own computer-aided teaching practice.The network enriches English database,makes it convenient for teachers to build the high-qualified courseware,to improve their teaching efficiency,and to do some research works on the Internet.What's more,the on-line radio stations can improve students' listening and speaking ability,involving them in a relaxed learning context,and the English chat rooms can serve as language lab in English learning.So all these contributions the network makes to the English teaching and learning is a worthwhile study.
