Three Transformations of the Cognition of Nature in Latin America and Their Contemporary Inspirations

The cognition of nature is an indispensable part of the history of human beings.Faced with the rapid development of science,technology,economics and society,and with the deterioration of environment,the reflection and reconstruction of the cognition of nature has become an urgent problem to be solved.From colonial times to independence movement and then to the era of globalization,there were three transformations of the cognition of nature in Latin America,corresponding respectively to its alienation,reunion,and integration with identification,which show how the locals construct their identities via their cognition of nature and the transformations of the relationship between human and nature.The transformations of the cognition of nature in Latin America bring essential inspirations to the reconstruction of the cognition of nature,understanding the relationship between human and nature,and also to the inquiry into development modes in the era of globalization.
