摘    要:因材施教是孔子对中国古代教育思想的一个重要贡献,然而孔子在具体运用时,有得也有失。他充分注意了学生的个体差异,但忽略了统一标准的重要性。孟子在继承孔子因材施教思想的同时,对其做了进一步的发展和完善。

Abstract:Teaching according to people's different aptitudes was the Confucius' most important contribution to ancient educational thoughts. But there were advantages and disadvantages as Confucius applied it. Confucius paid attention to students' individual difference fully, but he ignored the importance of unified standard. Mencius carried on the Confucius' teaching way and developed it.
