权奸在内而大将立功于外——谈胡宗宪的正面评价问题

胡宗宪是明朝嘉靖年间最重要的抗倭将领，由于厚结赵文华、严嵩等人，遭人垢贬，而得不到大多数人公正的评价。但从当时的历史条件与政治环境来看，胡宗宪并非一般阿谀奉承之小人，是封建专制迫使其扭曲了自己的人格，忍士大夫所不能忍之辱。而完士大夫所不能完之功。我们对其应该给与正面的评价。

Hu Zongxian was an important general who fought against Japanese pirates in the Ming Dynasty. Because he was obsequious to the wicked ministers such as Zhao Wenhua and Yan Song, he was unjustly commented. In the light of the then historic conditions and political environment, he was not an obsequious mean person. It was the feudal tyranny that distorted his personality.
