Loop细分曲面上的交互切分算法

摘    要:给出了Loop细分曲面上的一系列执行切分算法及交互操作的规则,切分算法是在给定边的尖锐程度上通过执行一次细分多面体现网格而实现的,一般地,相交于一个顶点的边数并没有限制,而且每一个边的切分值可以不同,这一交互切分算法将有助于加强用细分曲面进行曲面造型的计算机图形系统。

Abstract:Surfaces can be generated easily by subdividing polyhedral networks recursively,but over simple or rough polyhedral network,it is difficult to get the surfaces the designers wanted to model.To solve this problem,complex or precise polyhedral networks have to be defined.In this paper,a set of rules and an interactive algorithm for making fillet operations with Loop subdivision are presented.The fillet operations are implemented by subdividing a polyhedral network through giving sharpness of edges of the polyhedral network.Generally,the number of edges that meet at one vertex is no restriction and the sharpness of every edge can be different.The fillte operations proposed here will strengthen the functions of Computer Graphics system that uses subdivision surfaces to model surfaces.
