摘    要:对5G候选波形滤波器组多载波中的滤波多音调制(filtered multi-tone,FMT)在LTE(long term evolution)链路中的性能进行研究,分析其作为新的物理层多载波调制方案的可行性。从滤波器组的角度出发,首先对FMT的基本结构进行分析,然后基于DFT滤波器组推导出FMT的有效实现结构,最后在LTE链路中对FMT调制技术的性能进行仿真分析并与当前的正交频分复用技术作对比。结果表明,在实际的LTE链路信道模型中,FMT的误码率和可达比特率均优于OFDM,从而验证了FMT调制方案的可靠性和有效性,这说明FMT可以应用于未来无线通信的物理层调制技术中。

Abstract:Filtered multi-tone modulation as one of the 5G candidate waveform filter bank based multicarrier, we study its performance in LTE link and analyze its feasibility as the new physical layer multicarrier modulation scheme. This paper embarks from the viewpoint of DFT filter banks, firstly, analysis of the basic structure of FMT. Then, the effective implementation structure of FMT is derived based on the DFT filter bank. Finally, the performance of FMT modulation technology is simulated and analyzed in the LTE link and compared with the current orthogonal frequency division multiplexing technology. The results show that, in the actual LTE link channel model, the bit error rate and achievable bit rate of FMT are better than OFDM, which verifies the reliability and effectiveness of the FMT modulation scheme. This shows that FMT can be applied to the physical layer modulation technology in the future wireless communications.
