| Abstract: | In this paper, the existence , sources ,and hazard problems about the oil in the water environment were described. Their advantages and shortcomings and applied conditions commonly used methods for the measurement of oil in water environ- ment were also discussed. The methods concerned include gravimetry , turbidimetry , gas chromatography, pyrolitic method, UV spectrophotometry , and IR spectrophotometry. |
