钠对铝电解槽碳素内衬材料的侵蚀

摘    要:钠对铝电解槽碳内衬的侵蚀是导致铝电解槽破损的根本原因,本文在实验室内在不同温度下研究钠对炭素内衬材料的侵蚀作用,并结合炭素材料的结构,讨论其作用机理。认为,炭素材料的层间距越大,温度越低,钠侵蚀越严重,此外,还用x—射线衍射鉴定了生成的碳钠化合物,主要是C_(32)N_θ。

Abstract:Failures of carbon lining in aluminium clectralysis cell are mainly caused by sodium attack, so investigates the effect of sodium attack on carbon lining at different temperatures on a bench scale and the attack mechanism in connection with the structure of C-Na compounds produced. Experiments were performed both in an electrolysis cell and in a vessel under sodium vapor pressure. It is found that the low graphitizing level in carbon material and low attacking temperature lead to the intensification of sodium attack. By X-ray diffraction analysis the intercalation compounds of sodium in carbon lattice are identified as C32Na the major and C54 Na the minor, Cm Na increase more ox less with the temperature lowering.
