| Abstract: | Based on experimental studies, this paper concerns mainly the flow behav- ior of cooling water discharging into a wide but shallow river. It covers the problems of model scale distortion, steam mixing and heat transfer in the dif- fuser zone near the outlet, and the layout and design of diverging outlet struture. |
