| Abstract: | This paper provides a list of 144 species of the genus Lembosiaparastitize the hosts belonging to families. Ofthese, new names are proposed for five species: Lembosia chaetactimicola nom. nov. [ = Lembosia durbana VanderBy1 pro parte), Lembosia notelaeicola nom. nov. ( = Lembosia notelaeae Hansf. non 1954), Lembosia miconiae-prasinae nom.nov. ( = Morenoella miconiicola Ryan), Lembosia ocoteae nom. nov. ( = Lembosia microcarpa Chardon), Lembosia ryanii nom. nov. ( = Morenoella miconiae Ryan). New combinations are proposed for thirteen species: Lembosia anisocarpa comb. nov. ( = Morenoella anisocarpa Sydow), Lembosia anisopterae comb. nov. ( = Morenoella anisopterae Sydow),Lembosia beilschmiediae comb. nov. ( = Morenoella beilschmediae Yates),Lembosia euopla comb. nov. ( = Morenoella eu-ploa Sydow), Lembosia fragraeae comb. nov. ( = Morenoella fragraeae Sydow ), Lembosia giganteae comb. nov. ( =Morenoella gigantiae Ryan), Lembosia hookeri comb. nov. ( = Morenoella hookeri Sydow),Lembosia laguensis comb.nov. ( = Morenoella laguensis Sydow), Lembosia langeriaes comb. nov. ( = Morenoella langeriae Ryan), Lembosia melastomacearum comb. nov, ( = Morenoella melastomacearum Ryan), Lembosia shoreae comb. nov. ( = Morenoella shoreae Ryan), Lembosia tenuis comb. nov. ( = Morenoella tenuis Sydow), Lembosia whetzelii comb. nov. ( = Morenoella whetzelii Toro). All the species are arranged alphabetically under their respective host families and the host families are also arranged alphabetically. |
