| Abstract: | It was made a systematic analysis of the characteristics and the cause of the catastrophic flood in july,1996 at Yueyong city in Hunan province.The countermeasures were put forword.It also provided the scientific basis for the sustained development of economics at Yueyang city and the comprehensive control of Dongting lake. |
