英语广告语言的词汇运用特色

摘    要:英语广告语言是一种商业性语言,如何使广告的商业功能充分发挥,广告创意者须在广告语言潜词造句上下功夫.主要分析了英语广告语言在词汇运用上的特色,非正式书面英语和大众化口语的运用,造词,变异拼写,借用外来词,频用某些动词、形容词等,增加广告语言的感染力和吸引力.

Abstract:English advertisement is a sort of business language.To make the advertisement function fully in business,the advertisements' designer must take great efforts to care about the choice and usage of words and sentences.Vocabulary is a fundamental unit of English advertisement,this article analyzes primarily the unusual and distinctive features of words applications in English advertisement:the application of informal written.English and spoken English,coinage,anagrammatic spelling,borrowed words,and the frequent usage of some verbs,adjectives and commendatory phrase,compound words to enhance the appeal and attractiveness of advertisement language.
