Abstract:By using multivariable control theory in frequency domain and computer-aided design technique, a closed loop decoupled control system for automatic following synchronization of a variable frequency speed control A. C. motor-generator system is designed in this paper. Computer dynamic simulation shows the voltage vector of the generator can follow that of the power system without static errors in magnitude, frequency and phase angel. The generator can also be synchronized with the power system smoothly and quickly, even if the voltage and frequency of the system are fluctuating.
