| 摘 要： | 在《中国之科学与文明》中,李约瑟进行中西科技发展的比较,不过那是一种缺乏实际接触的比较。事实上,明末清初来华耶稣会士传入西学,使得两种文明中的自然知识传统遭遇,其间产生的竞争、冲突与比较,留下许多可进一步探究的议题。文章选择从明末清初近代东西文明的遭遇与冲撞,来分析近20年来台湾的科技史研究所处理的一些新议题。
