| Abstract: | This paper investigates the calculating formula of friction factor for heat exchanger with longitudinal fluid flow in shell side by the method of regarding zero shear stress line as separate boundary of tube unit. The correlated formulae coincide with our experimental results. The maximum deviation of the formulae results from experimental data is less than 6%. |
